Dr. Seth Brown is a graduate of the UConn School of Medicine. He did his surgical and otorhinolaryngology training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then pursued advanced training in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University under the mentorship of Dr. Vijay Anand. He returned to Connecticut 8 years ago to set up practice and has been active in the training of residents at UConn since. He is the Chief of Service of Otolaryngology and site director for the Otolaryngology Residency at St. Francis Hospital. He is active nationally in minimally invasive techniques for sinus and nasal tumor surgery, lecturing throughout North America and being involved in teaching nearly 50 courses in the past decade. He developed a training course for the rhinology fellows that is repeated yearly, as well as a dissection course for the residents at UConn. He runs a course at the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery yearly as well as being a committee chair on the American Rhinologic Society for the past 10 years. He has 27 peer reviewed publications as well as authored 11 book chapters. He has a private practice in addition to his work at UConn and sits on the board of Prohealth Physicians.
