Clinical Research Interests: 1) Evaluation of Dyspnea and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, 2) Exercise Training in COPD, 3) Evaluation for Lung Resection Surgery in Lung Cancer, 4) Ventilator Weaning Outcomes

Didactic Teaching: 1) Critical Care Curriculum for fourth year medical students. Non-Didactic Teaching and Mentoring. 2) Precepting Medical Students in the ICU during their Critical Care subinternship and during inpatient and outpatient Pulmonary Medicine rotation. 3) Rounding with and precepting Medicine residents during their ICU rotation and during their Pulmonary rotation. 4) Morning Report/Noon Conferences for Medicine residents. 4) Case discussions/non-didactic teaching sessions for fellows in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Program at UConn Health. 5) Mentoring research with Medicine residents and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine fellows that has been presented at several national and international Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine meetings. Curriculum Development: Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test Curriculum for the Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship at UConn Health which is incorporated into the fellowship syllabus. Clinical Program Development: Developed Cardiopulmonary Exercise Test Program for the Pulmonary Laboratory at UConn Health, which provides this facility to various other hospitals and outpatient practices in the Hartford County and neighboring areas.
