Dr. Shirin Schilling received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Washington and received her M.D. from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She graduated from the UConn Psychiatry Residency Program, where she served as the chief inpatient resident. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Schilling worked as a clinical research coordinator and a clinical trials coordinator at Northwest Clinical Research Center in Bellevue, Washington. Dr. Schilling has clinical and teaching responsibilities at UConn Health, where she primarily sees patients on the Inpatient Psychiatry unit at UConn John Dempsey Hospital, and supervises a team of residents and medical students.
