Dr. Prazwala Chirravur is a board-certified Oral Medicine Specialist and a fellow of the American Board of Oral Medicine at the UConn School of Dental Medicine, where she provides care for patients at the newly initiated Oral Medicine and Oncology Clinical Practice. Her unique training includes an Oral Medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, specialized expertise in Oral Oncology from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and an internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute. Additionally, she is a certified instructor of chronic pain intervention at Stanford University and holds a Botox certification, which enhances her ability to treat orofacial pain conditions.

Dr. Chirravur's clinical focus encompasses premalignant and malignant disorders, toxicities from cancer therapy, salivary gland diseases, and other mucosal conditions, as well as oral manifestations of autoimmune and medically complex conditions, TMD and orofacial pain. Dedicated to advancing specialized oral healthcare, she is actively involved in multi-center clinical research on cancer therapy toxicities and orofacial pain disorders, while also educating and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.
