Dr. D’Andrea, an internal medicine and occupational and environmental medicine specialist, is a graduate of New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency followed by a Masters in Public Health and a residency in occupational and environmental medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine and occupational and environmental medicine and works as a hospitalist at the John Dempsey Hospital at the UConn Health Center. He is an associate progam director for the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program and a key faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. His academic interests include hospital medicine, quality improvement, evidence-based medicine practice and teaching, and public health policy.
