Dr. Holzhauer’s research focuses on risk for, and treatment of, Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in women and on identifying the mechanisms of change in AUD recovery. The overarching goal of this work is to enhance and personalize AUD treatments for subgroups of individuals, including women and those with co-occurring conditions.
