My research interests include how fundamental principles of chromosomal organization, epigenetics, and transcription intertwine in regulating tissue homeostasis and how their alterations cause various disease states. An imbalance in the epigenetic regulatory genes and transcription factor functions causes tissue homeostasis loss, leading to various diseases like cancer and ASD. We use genome editing, biochemical assays, and proteomics and genomics to address these questions.
