Dr. Sathe is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon and an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the UConn Musculoskeletal Institute. Dr. Sathe has trained extensively in the United States including a foot and ankle fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston as well as a foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock. He completed a third fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine and surgery at Kentucky Sports Medicine Clinic in Lexington. He is a fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom and has a Master’s Degree in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Sathe is an ABOS board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Sathe’s clinical focus is on the treatment of all foot and ankle disorders, including bunions, hammertoes, arthritis, complex deformities, arthroscopic procedures, nerve and tendon injuries, fractures, and sports injuries to the foot and ankle.
Dr. Sathe is committed to education and training along with clinical research. He has been on Hartford Magazine's Top Doctors list for the last two years.
