David Wang, M.D., M.S., is a sports medicine physician who has worked with competitive athletes for over 25 years. His experiences have encompassed pediatric to masters athletes from recreational to professional and Olympic levels. He is able to draw upon his extensive experience, both as a physician and as a former collegiate athlete, to provide a deeper understanding of the medical, orthopedic, and psychologic issues that can affect an athlete. Over the years, he has been actively searching for answers to complex medical issues where traditional thinking has not provided a clear diagnosis or treatment. In addition to his exceptional care of the athlete, he is involved with research of many issues involving athletes, with a special interest in concussions. His concussion research has resulted in numerous publications, and invited lectures locally and internationally.
