General gastroenterology including diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, ultrasound-assisted liver biopsy, and ultrasound-assisted paracentesis

Developed liver disease lectures and small group sessions for the 2nd year medical students in Disorders of Metabolism Course: “Complications of Chronic Liver Disease”, and “Serum Liver Tests” and “Fulminant Hepatic Failure”. Have been also involved in the UConn Mini-Medical School program since 2008 in which he annually presents a lecture: “Chronic Viral Hepatitis: What is it and why is it important?”, and was a mentor for shadowing of mini-medical students for cases in GI endoscopy, Careers in Gastroenterology. Served as a Selective advisor for 4th year medical students. Consult Attending, Endoscopy Attending, and medical residents in Continuity Clinic. Local, national and international reputation as a clinical lecturer. Since 2003, have presented 21 invited lectures abroad in China, India, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and Croatia.
